My goal as a director is to lead a process of collaboration: uplifting exploration with an end goal of specificity. I favor a rehearsal that employs physicality, tempo, focus, and ensemble connection to create moments of tension and resolve. I like to work in stage images as the primary vehicle for energetic storytelling while freeing actors to explore the emotional story of their characters.
